Longarm Quilting
Give your quilt the perfect finishing touch with our professional longarm quilting services. We have thousands of digital patterns from which to choose whether you are looking for edge-to-edge or full custom quilting. You can mail or bring your quilt to the Sew Fly Studio or you can drop it off at The Confident Stitch , A Clean Stitch or Vicki's Down Under.
I'm currently scheduled through March 2025 for custom quilts. Edge-to-Edge quilting is currently running 7-10 days and sometimes quicker.
-
Edge-to-Edge
Pricing for edge-to-edge is determined by the complexity of the pattern you select. It ranges from $.015 - .03 per square inch.
-
Batting
We carry a variety of battings available by the yard ranging in price between $13 - $16 per yard. If you are providing the batting it must be a minimum 4" larger than your quilt top all the way around.
-
Backing
Backing needs to be 6-8" larger around the entire quilt top. If you are using a wide back, it needs to be a minimum 10" on each side.
-
Binding
For an additional fee I can trim and square your quilt, make the binding, attach the binding to the front for you to hand sew on the back or attach to the front and use my stitch in the ditch foot to finish off the binding.
-
Thread
I have an expansive assortment of quality Superior and Glide brand threads. With few exceptions I use the same color thread in the bobbin as used for the quilting. I also most often use Micro Quilter for stitch-in-the-ditch.
-
Shipping
If you are mailing us your quilt your final invoice will include the shipping costs to return the quilt.
Local delivery is available for Missoula customers.
-
Intake Form
Please print, fill out and include with your quilting when mailed or dropped off for quilting.

Quilting Design Selection
We have thousands of patterns for you to choose from. Typically my clients either have a general idea or they leave it completely up to us. We are happy to purchase patterns not in our library and we are also able to mock up what your e2e pattern will look like for your approval before we start quilting.
